A photo from a recent shoot of my 1805 morning dress and spencer jacket. More to follow.

We went to the Beautiful Shelburne Farms to take pictures. while strolling down a tree lined avenue we came across a chestnut tree and gathered some.

As usual, the costume is entirely hand sewn and worn with authentic undergarments etc...

What a delight this is! All this inventing, this producing, takes place in a pleasing, lively dream.

this is a wonderful photo! The colors are beautiful, as are the clothes. Plus, picking chestnuts seems like such a period-suitable activity!

But now I want even more to go home and gather chestnuts. aaaahh....

Thanks! I love spencers. There is something about the length that I think is so chic.

Haha, I'd actually never seen a chestnut tree before (ok, I probably have but not when there were nuts on the ground.)
