Shaped brim hat. Made with buckram and wire base covered in light green cotton and trimmed in contrasting cotton velvet. Bow in contrast fabric and gros-grain ribbon.
Inspiration was 40's Dior hats, though this hat did not have quite as much distinction between the crown and brim as I had wanted. |
